
Russell decided to run after being involved on the Bright Futures Neosho Advisory Board. He says Bright Futures is doing great work and he felt he should take a more active role in the school district through service on the school board. If elected, he plans to remain in his role as Vice-chair of Bright Futures Neosho.
He stated, "I've long felt the calling to serve my community through the school board. Neosho has a great district. Of course, there are always areas that need improving and I hope to help identify those and move toward greater success."
The election will be held Tuesday, April 2nd. There are two positions available. The top two vote-getters will fill those positions.
